On Being Bogus

Apparently a friend of mine was drugged while on a Bus to Nairobi. All he remembers is sitting next to a very talkative gentleman who offered him a biscuit... Next thing; he woke up in Nairobi Hospital with no wallet, no phone (the thief "graciously" checked his phone for Kenyan numbers and slipped a note - with my number included - into his pocket!) and no recollection of the fact that (after being called by the bus company) he was picked by some friends all intoxicated and telling his deepest secrets.... Apparently all he had was 2,000/= in his pocket. He was so "dosed" his heartbeat was in the lower 40's. I can't believe he almost died for a paltry 2,000/= The moral of the story is....
i) Travel by air
ii) if not i) above then travel on a bus next to a a bona fide priest
iii) That flavour in the biscuit is gonna kill you! Drop any biscuits u are offered on a bus on the floor "by mistake" and then claim a fulls tomach... Then let the hanger pangs kick in slowly

I can't believe they isn't enough salary in my month this time around. Just 11 days into the month and I am already heading for my last "reds". Hmmmm... Onatop ( a la Bond, James Bond) of that my boss just sent out a note for people to bid for some computers including my old one. The one I didnt want to delete those 1,000's of downlaoded songs and video's from. So I just sent in my abnormaly high bid. No one, and I mean no one, is getting all those hours of Napster for free!

On the title: I was supposed to meet a friend over the weekend but was unable to make it. The usual poor scheduling where I make 3 dates and can only turn up for one. So now she says I am bogus. And fake. How can I be fake???? I am a genuine, honest liar and maker of appointments I dont keep. Isn't that as original as one can get? Did I add this was what is called a clande meeting?

I am getting all tired of this anyway.... Maybe monogamy is the solution?

on ur friend being drugged, I remember as a child Ma telling us never to eat food from strangers, especially on the bus. In fact, I always thought people were getting drugged by strangers!!!

It sucks that your friend had to go through such a horrible ordeal.
