And the sofa yelled Dani!

What a weekend! For a sports lover who admires Dani Pedrosa that is. I was totally amazed as the lil Spaniard came in third in Sepang.... Me and all of my sofa mates (last count zero) were so tense the entire race as the pessimistic commentators wondered how long the painkillers would last.... Wow! Now if only some Italian genious could have a tumble in the first corner of the next race, taking a certain American down with him.....
Another cold morning in Nairobi. I probably should be working and not killing these man hours on the internet....
Dani! Dani!
My kid bro passed through Nairobi on Saturday from a month long post-uni holiday in Mombasa.... I go out to town, I come home and find him with a "friend" (female of course) he met somewhere or the other - probably at the neighbourhood mall. A cutie too... She looked kinda familiar and since the only places we could have met all start with F... F1, F2, F3... and not F for Formula, I was pretty worried..... With a piercing look into her eyes, I asked "have we met before", to which she smilingly refers me to some ad on some local Tv.... As if I can remember who appears in which ad on Tv.... On my way out (I know when I am not needed) I took time to remind him not to forget to fasten the cond... oops I mean the safety belt. Fortunately he left for home on Sunday morning....Hands of too you bro... 24 hours in Nairobi and you already had a cute friend, pity you called her using my cell phone. Number has been saved for a cold day and hehehe... you know there are plenty of those in Nairobi...
