48 hours After Quitting Smoking

I am still craving cigarettes. In fact craving is an understatement. I would practically rob anyone I saw with one.... I keep my sanity by drinking glasses of water and reading about Lebanon. I don’t know why but the Middle East sure does make life in Africa seem so serene and worth living...

Gosh but Nairobi has been really cold this year. I can not remember the last time I felt the warm sun on my skin... KPLC slapped me with an 8,000 bill most of which I blame on those cheap little heaters from Nakumat! I feel like a small industry when I look at my electricity bills in this town. Almost makes me miss my little shanty where all connections were illegal!

Anyone know a bookshop that sells second hand books in Nairobi? The last one I knew was all the way down coast in Mombasa but I checked last month and it had decided to go the retail shop route.
